SBA's 2012 Michigan Small Business Award Winners Are Announced!The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced the winners of its 2012 Small Business awards, including four Midwest regional winners and two National awardees. Awards will be presented on May 3 at the annual Michigan Celebrates Small Business awards event at the Lansing Center in Lansing. The following winners were selected based on staying power, financial performance, innovativeness, response to adversity, contributions to their communities and advocacy for the advancement of small business. - Small Business Person of the Year: John Lowery, Applied Imaging, Grand Rapids
