RE: SBA Lending Programs and the potential of a government shutdown
As you may have seen, yesterday afternoon President Obama referred to SBA lending programs while discussing the possibility of a federal government shutdown. In the coming days, if a federal government shutdown looks likely, SBA will provide detailed guidance on which lending programs will be affected, and how, specifically, they will be impacted.
All of us at SBA are committed to working with you to make sure any possible interruption of funding for our agency is as painless as possible on our lending partners as well as the small businesses and entrepreneurs we both serve.
