SBA to Host Meet the Lenders Forum in Kalamazoo Detroit, MI. – The SBA, along with the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center and SCORE mentors will host a free Meet the Lenders Forum on May 24th from 9 a.m. to Noon at Haworth College of Business, 3110 Schneider Hall, Kalamazoo, MI 49008, at Western Michigan University.   The session is open to prospective and existing business owners who are seeking funding to start or expand a business.  Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet with multiple lenders in one location, at one time, to discuss lending criteria, loan products, and alternative lending options. "This is a great opportunity for business owners to meet with many different lending institutions, at one time, and talk about potential funding opportunities." said Brian Picarazzi, Senior Area Manager for the U.S. Small Business Administration.   "Whether a business owner wants to finance a building, purchase equipment, or fund working capital, lenders who have the ability to finance these types of transactions through SBA loan programs will be on hand." To make the most out of the event, come prepared with multiple copies of your business plan, cash flow projections and know your credit score.  The Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center and SCORE are available to assist you in developing the business plan.
